Lime Street
An apartment block that embodies the essence of North Fremantle’s character, Lime Street is an example of a considered multi-residential dwelling that remains respectful of the existing streetscape.
Nestled between the Swan River and the ocean, the three-story mixed residence sits quietly in a busy area. Featuring retail spaces on the ground floor, a garage and fifteen apartments, the building merges utility and comfort with ease.
Each apartment features an open plan; there is a natural sense of flow as one moves from the kitchen through to the dining and living spaces, which connect to a large balcony that overlooks the street.
Large glass sliding doors welcome natural light into the apartments, supporting cross-ventilation and inviting the sea breeze inside.
The material facade consists of exposed red brick and steel. This echoes the vernacular of the eclectic locale, which features a combination of heritage and contemporary buildings.
Inside, a restrained palette allows inhabitants to individualise the space according to their style, complemented by luxurious detailing including timber flooring, stone benches and European appliances.
