Ebden Street

Purchased as a ‘renovators delight’, this Edwardian home had a 80’s extension that was severely dilapidated and needing some significant renovations.

The design kept the front four rooms (typical of these layouts) and adding a Ensuite to the Master Bed and upgrading the heritage features throughout. The previous extension was demolished and a layout more complementary to open plan family living designed to spill out to a large deck and entertaining area. The wide sliding doors open up to create the classic ‘indoor / outdoor’ flow so well suited to contemporary living.

The site falls to the rear so split level was created externally to help transition to the garden and lawn area. The deck faces north west and sitting out there in the afternoon with a cool drink watching the kids play is what these spaces are build for.
